Cards are placed face down and we have to pick a card, then move up or down the rocket. If the cards says 2 more we need to move up the rocket 2 spaces, if it says 1 less, we need to move down the rocket 1 space. The first person to reach the top is the winner. I beat Mrs Linda twice. It was so very fun playing the game with her.

For maths I played the odd and even game so I can improve with my maths. To play this game you need to know your odd and even number. When a number pops up on the orange board you need to click if it is a even number or a odd number. I learnt a lot from playing this game.

The Rescue by Ma'ata.

The man fell off the boat and is in the water. The waves were big and he felt scared because he didn’t know how to swim. The helicopter went to help the man. The man felt happy to see the helicopter because he knew he was going to be rescued. The people on the helicopter know how to help people.

Today Mrs Anderson worked with me. We wrote a story together about the man being rescued.

We also added in some images and videos to give a clear picture of the special bird.  Did you know that they have a 8-9 day non stop flight, this adds up to one whole week and one day which is a short period of time considering they are flying long distance.   We look toward to learn more about the unique birds.

Run jump throw

Today we were taught some basic skills which were to look straight a head instead of looking at the person who says go, use light feet, run in a straight line, stand straight, bend your arms and cheek to cheek which is then you move your arms from the side of your face to the side of your leg. We learnt that for sprints the starter says on your mark, set, go and on long distance the starter says on your mark, go. the way to get ready for sprints you need to stand back one meter from the line, when the starter says on your mark you move one leg forward and squish the bug, which means to wriggle your foot so it comes up to the line, not passing it but just behind it, when the starter says set, you bend your knees and lift your back heel up off the ground, and wait for them to say go.
