Learning to write clear instructions

For writing this morning we were learning to write a set of instructions. The important thing to remember is to give clear, precise instructions in time order so other people can easily follow them.

We got together in pairs and had to follow instructions from our partner to draw the same thing as they did, without looking at their picture.

The Rescue by Ma'ata.

The man fell off the boat and is in the water. The waves were big and he felt scared because he didn’t know how to swim. The helicopter went to help the man. The man felt happy to see the helicopter because he knew he was going to be rescued. The people on the helicopter know how to help people.  

Today Mrs Anderson worked with me. We wrote a story together about the man being rescued.
