Food Tech mince pie - Maata

Today at tech we finished making our mince and cheese pies. Firstly we reheated our frozen mince filling from last week. Next we had to roll out two different types of pastry, one for the pie and one for the top. Then we cut the pastry to fit into the foil pie dishes and filled them with mince and cheese. We then put the pastry lid on and made a design on the top with pastry. I made a letter M for my name. Then we brushed the top with egg to make the pastry go a nice golden brown. We then put them in the oven to cook. They tasted delicious.
